May 3-7 is Air Quality Awareness Week. The quality of the air we breathe affects each of us differently and can lead to serious health issues, including asthma, heart disease and stroke to name a few. Air Quality Awareness Week is a partnership effort to remind Americans to check the Air Quality Index while planning their outdoor activities.
What do you do to “Be Air Aware” when planning outdoor activities?
Each week we ask a question related to the environment. Please let us know your thoughts as comments. Feel free to respond to earlier comments or post new ideas. Previous questions.
